Short breaks in Port Lincoln

The Port Lincoln region is a coastal playground and the seafood capital of Australia – where you can enjoy the taste of the freshest oysters, local wines, the thrill of hand feeding tuna and a cruise on the picturesque Boston Bay. Discover the scenic beauty of Eyre Peninsula with a 3, 4 or 5 day Boston Odyssey

Day 1 Arrive Port Lincoln

Upon arrival at the Port Lincoln Airport you will be met by a company representative who will transfer you to your accommodation for check in at the new waterfront Port Lincoln Hotel. The afternoon tour starts with a visit to a local winery for a tasting of some local vintages, before a scenic view over the peninsula from Winters Hill, and a drive by of some of the luxury homes over looking Boston Bay. Descending to the foreshore we visit Axel Stenross Maritime Museum, the esplanade and main shopping area, Wharf precinct and the Lincoln Cove Marina. Last stop is a seafood processor to learn of local species and an opportunity to purchase local produce.

Day 2 Swim with Tuna

A lazy start to the day with a 10am transfer to the marina for Swim with Tuna, a fun filled encounter with one of the fastest fish in the sea. The adrenalin pumps as these large majestic fish slide past, as if by magic making the sardine disappear in less than a blink of an eye. Leaving you mesmerized by the graceful speed of the Southern Bluefin Tuna. Return to Port Lincoln late morning. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore at leisure

Day 3 Free time prior to your departure

Today is free to explore the town and the bay.
Relax with some casual shopping and coffee at one of the friendly cafés along the esplanade
Perhaps Parnkalla Trail – a coastal nature walking trail around Boston Bay to Billy Lights Point. Maybe a sailing cruise around Boston Island before your return transfer to the Port Lincoln Airport.
